Dido & Aeneas
February 20-22 | 2026
@ the Fisch Haus

What happens when love collides with empire? Carthage's queen and a Trojan war hero caught between desire and destiny, while witches pull strings and the gods demand sacrifice. Purcell's baroque masterpiece is 60 minutes of pure emotional devastation—power plays, impossible choices, and one of the most haunting death scenes ever written. Intimate. Gorgeous. Devastating.

Mr. Twister & the Tale of Tornado Alley
May 5-8 | 2026 @ Exploration Place

FREE PERFORMANCE (See below!)

Dorothy had the Yellow Brick Road. We have Marc Hoffeditz's surreal Midwest fever dream where storm chasers become prophets and tornadoes speak in tongues. This contemporary opera is equal parts magical realism, climate anxiety, and Great Plains mythology—a wild ride through the landscapes and stories that shape us. World premiere energy. Kansas weird. Unmissable.

Hipsters, aesthetic poseurs, and the women who love them—or do they? G&S skewers influencers in this operetta about a poet so extra that he makes everyone question their taste. It's satire that still cuts, melodies that live rent-free in your head, and proof that every generation has to deal with insufferable artists pretending to be deep.
